The tablet market is growing rapidly with loads of tablets from various manufacturers, competing with each other to provide the best possible products. Now, the IdeaTab series has a new member, the IdeaTab S2109. Lenovo has officially announced its arrival on YouTube with a short video giving the features of their IdeaTab S2109.
This Ice Cream Sandwich tablet has some similar functions with the previous generation iPad. It has a 9.7-inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 and an aspect ratio of 4:3. The tablet has a thickness of 8.9mm, close enough to iPad 2. The IPS display offers a broader viewing angle of 178 degrees.
Some other specifications include a 1.3 MP front facing camera, support for a microSD card, a micro USB and HDMI. The tablet has a ‘gunmetal’ case with a stylish finish. The video shows faster processing running with Tegra 3 processor or a TI OMAP but it is still unconfirmed. It claims to have a battery life of 10 hours. There is no update on the availability and pricing of the device.
