Offered for PC only, the PlayStation Suite SDK 0.98 contains the PC Suite and Composer for making interfaces via physical and touch-screen controls, and simulator for checking your creation.
It’s also likely to check out games and apps on the PS Vita itself, as well as any PlayStation-certified devices such as a latest Sony Xperia Smartphone or any of the Sony’s Android tablets. However, free games rand apps won’t be allowed, only paid apps or “premium” content, with an in-app purchasing system estimated to roll out sometime during the beta period.
Sony package has different UI libraries and the Game Engine 2D for games using 2D graphics, Physics2D for 2D physical engine, and multiple sample games and apps in 2D and 3D. Now the Developer Forums are also open, permitting coders to collaborate and talk to Sony’s own experts.
