Tim Cook, however, later supposedly penned an email in which he assured a concerned customer that there was still some life in the Mac Pro.

DigiTimes, in the meantime, said Apple is targeting to put a Retina show in all its products to beat out competitors on screen resolution. Retina displays are a very costly component, so most other PC retailers almost certainly won't launch a product with the higher-resolution panel anytime soon, the newspaper stated out.
